As every single tumblr user already knows; as of December 17th. all NSFW content is officially banned from Tumblr.

Well, what does this mean?

This means that all adult content (General porn, offensive porn, artistic nudes, photographic nudes, any thing that is depicted as nudity and/or sexual content) is officially banned on the site.

What’s gonna happen to All the NSFW artist and content creator?

I personally do not know. As of witnessing the outrage of this on twitter, some artist has taken to newgrounds for their content posting. I’ve been testing the waters of newgrounds and it hasn’t been very kind to my content.

I see some artist might make their own domain for content, some have even taken up deviantart, or posting on twitter, but that might just get NSFW content creators shadowbanned on twitter.

What about you?

I’m personally am moving to Pixiv (LINK) to continue to post FREE content. I don’t believe my work is Patreon worthy, so I will continue to not charge people for viewing my content.

Will you continue to post content on Tumblr until the new guidelines are in place?

No. Logically speaking, there’s no point on continue to posting NSFW content on this platform anymore. 95% of my content has been officially flagged by Tumblr. I’m not gonna even try to get them all reviewed, it’s a waste of time.

Instead I will be continually re-blogging this post everyday to promote my Pixiv page (LINK) and as well as my Twitter page (LINK). So we can start rebuilding the fan on another site outside of Tumblr.

Endnote:

It’s horrible that this is happening. With the long time history of NSFW being on tumblr, this change will be the sites downfall (opinion). I was hoping to hit 3k follows by the end of this year on tumblr and now it’ll never happen.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sad that tumblr has finally decided to 100% step onto the get woke go broke train and just Thanosing anything even mentioning the words adult content BUT I don’t want to trash my blog.

Yes like a battered spouse that doesn’t want the cops taking their abusive partner away I still want to make this work somehow maybe censoring the “female-presenting nipples” and linking to my NSFW sites or something.

Not that it would stop them from flagging it anyway but I still defiantly want to use this as a platform to post commission drives, stupid movies and stuff I’ve seen.

Well looks like this is it. I really don’t know what to do. Tumblr was my main platform where I felt like everyone was able to find me and it was so much easier for me to get things out and communicate. As most of you guys probably already know, Tumblr is taking down all the blogs with nsfw content… so yeah, I don’t stand a chance lol

I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone here… and I’ll see you again on DeviantArt and Patreon… I don’t know if Tumblr is going to delete those blogs completely or if they are just going to delete the content… because if I can still stay, I’ll keep using Tumblr to chat with you guys :)
